Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc., located in Kingston, Ontario, seeks enthusiastic Outside Sales Representatives to sell residential and commercial building materials and build strong contractor relationships.

You will leverage exclusive sales tools, pursue new business, and participate in a comprehensive compensation package with uncapped commission potential, RRSP matching, and full benefits. A college degree and valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with roofing material sales is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with exterior, cladding (siding, Hardie etc) and windows.
• College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry knowledge with product lines and building contractor process is preferred but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Superior time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and managing customer relationships.
• Utilizing sales reports and data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns.
• Making cold calls to prospective customers.
• Following leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers.
• Following up with customers and providing solutions if a service concern arises.
• Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services.
• Assisting customers in the credit application process.
• Coordinate and attend contractor events.
