Job summary

Leavitt Machinery is seeking an Outside Sales & Rentals Representative to join our Cambridge, Ontario team. You will lead the industrial equipment sales and rentals strategy in your territory, build and manage a customer base, and collaborate with product experts to identify expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 1–3 years of B2B sales experience or strong asset in related field.
• Knowledge of construction or material handling industry is advantageous.
• Post-secondary education in sales, business management, or related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel, is expected.
• Experience using a CRM system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sales and rental strategy in the territory.
• Develop expertise in selling material handling equipment.
• Prospect for new business and manage sales leads to secure accounts.
• Deliver tailored, solution-oriented pitches using market data and product knowledge.
• Negotiate with customers to close deals and maximize value.

• Identify decision makers and build ongoing relationships.
• Ensure contract compliance and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on orders, quotes, and requested services.
