Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Customer Service/Order Desk Representative in Scarborough to manage a high‑volume order desk and ensure exceptional client satisfaction. You will process orders, provide quotes, and source products across the network while adapting to proprietary ERP software.

You will communicate daily with English‑speaking clients and vendors, collaborate with account reps, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of order desk or customer care experience (industrial equipment/parts preferred for senior compensation).
• Solid understanding of order processing, vendor sourcing, and logistics workflows.
• Proven track record with computer literacy and adapting to custom software tools.
• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Full‑time, on‑site availability at Scarborough branch (5 days/wk).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data logging, filtering, and analysis.
• Willingness to learn custom ERP software and strong communication skills.
• Excellent time‑management with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle 25–50 daily B2B customer care interactions via email, phone, and order systems.
• Accurately process customer orders and enter data into ERP; issue timely quotes.
• Source products across branches, distribution centers, and supplier inventories.
• Negotiate sales and purchase pricing within approved parameters.
• Coordinate with account reps and vendors to manage backorders and expedite shipments.
• Utilize Excel to filter data, log requests, and maintain records.
• Maintain knowledge of industrial equipment to support client needs.
• Participate in system training and onboarding to build product expertise.
