Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalence.
  • Full‑time, on‑site availability at Scarborough branch (5 days/wk).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data logging, filtering, and analysis.
  • Willingness to learn custom ERP software and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time‑management with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle 25–50 daily B2B customer care interactions via email, phone, and order systems.
  • Accurately process customer orders and enter data into ERP; issue timely quotes.
  • Source products across branches, distribution centers, and supplier inventories.
  • Negotiate sales and purchase pricing within approved parameters.
  • Coordinate with account reps and vendors to manage backorders and expedite shipments.
  • Utilize Excel to filter data, log requests, and maintain records.
  • Maintain knowledge of industrial equipment to support client needs.

We are seeking a dedicated order desk professional to join a supportive, long-tenured team within our customer care and business administration portfolio.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the backbone of daily operations, ensuring seamless order entry and exceptional client satisfaction. Your expertise will be crucial in managing a high-volume order desk, processing 25 to 50 orders daily, and adapting to customized proprietary ERP software. This Customer Service Representative position offers the chance to thrive in a friendly environment where internal advancement is highly encouraged.

This role requires full professional proficiency in English, as you will communicate daily with English-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams across the network to provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders.

  • Participate in comprehensive system training, onboarding, and ongoing mentorship to build strong product expertise.
Qualifications
