Occupational Therapist

Location: White Earth Health Center, Ogema, MN & Nay-Tah-Waush Clinic (Mahnomen, MN)Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00AM4:30PM (No overtime)
SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients of all ages requiring functional rehabilitation due to injury, illness, developmental delay, or chronic disease. Services include improving ADLs, fine motor skills, upper extremity function, cognitive support, and home-program education while maintaining compliance with IHS clinical and documentation standards.
Primary Duties-Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and functional assessments-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals-Provide direct patient therapy focused on ADLs, self-care, mobility, and functional skills-Treat approximately 10 patients per clinical day across pediatric, adult, and elder populations-Document care and progress in the electronic health record system-Coordinate with physicians, nursing, and medical teams regarding treatment and referrals-Provide patient and caregiver training for home programs and assistive strategies-Maintain OT treatment spaces and equipment-Complete required onboarding, EMR, HIPAA, and safety training-Meet clinic documentation, billing packet, and schedule requirements
Required Qualifications-Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program-Active, unrestricted OT license in a U.S. state or territory-Current BLS certification-Ability to pass federal background investigation and credentialing-Ability to learn clinic EMR system and operate digital tools-Strong communication and cultural-sensitivity skills
Preferred Qualifications-Prior experience in IHS, tribal health, or rural care settings-Experience treating infants through geriatric patients-Previous credentialing at the White Earth Health Center
$100 - $120 an hour
