Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Canada is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk to coordinate daily staffing for the Nursing Department and support a safe, resident-centered environment. You will assist with staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments, and help ensure coverage for shifts as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (post-secondary education is an asset) and exceptional English communication skills. CPR may be required to obtain and maintain certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written
• Post-secondary education is an asset; CPR may be required to obtain/maintain

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily staffing of the Nursing Department
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and staff
• Assist in replacement staffing on a daily call-in basis and update master schedule
