Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Non-Insured Billing Administrator for a 20-month contract based in Winnipeg, MB. You will manage all premium and billing tasks for group clients, ensuring accuracy in calculations and timely processing of inquiries, payments, and arrears.

  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance required if offered employment.

  • Allocate and code payments on PAS and SAP.
  • Handle all Group Client arrears.
  • Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments affecting client bills.
  • Calculate retroactive fees and taxes.
  • Prepare policy year-end refund audits within service target date.

Description:

Temporary Full Time

We are looking for a Non-Insured Billing Administrator.

The Billing Administrator is responsible for handling all premium and billing aspects for group clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and maintenance of their assigned block of business and assisting team members, keeping current and consistent with specific quality standards.

What you will do:
  • Prepare monthly billing statements using Microsoft Excel and the Group Billing System (GBS)
  • Handling daily inquiries from Clients, Group Sales office and other Canada Life departments.
  • Allocate and code payments accurately on Policy Administration System (PAS) and Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
  • Handle all Group Client arrears.
  • Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments, which have a direct impact on the client bill
  • Calculate retroactive fees and taxes
  • Prepare policy year-end refund audits within the service target date
What you will bring:

  • You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs
  • Bilingual fluency (English & French) would be considered an asset
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $43,300 - $58,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
