American Iron and Metal (AIM) is hiring a Non-Ferrous Receiving Attendant for our Drummondville site. The role focuses on receiving, sorting, and handling non-ferrous metals in a predominantly indoor setting with occasional outdoor tasks.

Candidates should be comfortable with physical, manual labor and be attentive to safety protocols. The position offers a stable daytime schedule Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, plus Saturday mornings, with training provided and opportunities for professional

• Experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or related field is an asset.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment is an asset.
• Knowledge of different types of metals is an asset.

• Greet customers and apply established procedures.
• Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials.

• Weigh and organize materials.
• Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.

Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiving Attendant to join our Drummondville team. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs. This position is focused on manual labour, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable with physical work.

What you will be responsible for

• Greet customers and apply established procedures;
• Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials;
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and organize materials;
• Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments;

Qualifications

• You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;
