Job summary

AIM Recycling in Victoriaville is seeking a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team. The role focuses on receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals, primarily indoors with some outdoor tasks.

This position is manual and physical, requiring reliability, teamwork, and safety‑minded individuals. You will work a daytime schedule, participate in training on equipment, and contribute to a dynamic, industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of different metals is an asset.
• Comfort with manual and physical work.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team in Victoriaville.

The person in this position will mainly be responsible for the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is primarily performed indoors, with some occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position is focused on manual work, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active, and comfortable with physical work.

What you will be responsible for :

• Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
• Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system;
• Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments;
• Operate the forklift safely;
• Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition;
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance;
• Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties.
