AIM Recycling is seeking a Non-Ferrous Receiving Attendant for our Drummondville team. The role involves receiving, sorting, and handling non-ferrous metals, primarily indoors with occasional outdoor tasks, and requires reliability and stamina for physical work.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or related field (asset).
• Experience operating forklift or similar equipment (asset).
• Knowledge of metals (asset).
• Ability to perform manual labour indoors and outdoors when needed.
• Good physical condition, able to perform repetitive tasks and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and apply established procedures.
• Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials.
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals.
• Weigh and organize materials.
• Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site.

Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiving Attendant to join our Drummondville team.

The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position is focused on manual labour, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable with physical work.

What you will be responsible for :

• Greet customers and apply established procedures;

Qualifications

• You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
• You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
• You are able to perform manual labour and work indoors and occasionally outdoors;
• You are in good physical condition and comfortable with repetitive tasks;
• You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;
• You have strong teamwork skills and can collaborate effectively with others.
