American Iron & Metal (AIM) seeks a Ferrous Receiving Labourer in Laval to join our team and help receive, unload, sort, and inspect ferrous metals while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class 5 licence, outdoor work ability, and forklift experience as assets. We value reliability, teamwork, and safety-conscious attitudes in a dynamic recycling operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
• Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment is an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of metals types is an asset.
• Good physical ability and ability to work outdoors.
• Responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and follow receiving procedures.
• Receive, unload, sort and inspect ferrous metals.
• Identify metal types and assess quality.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties to support site operations.

Job Description

We are looking for a Ferrous Receiving Labourer to join our team in Laval.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Welcome customers and follow the applicable receiving procedures;
• Receive, unload, sort and inspect ferrous metals;
• Identify different types of metals and assess their quality;
