Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling teammate in Mississauga to turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate flow to store shelves. You will operate store equipment and maintain inventory, ensuring space for deliveries and proper paperwork.

• Previous experience in receiving and handling inventory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
