Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling associate to join our Saskatoon store team. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, moving stock, and ensuring accurate inventory flow to the store shelves with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, schedule deliveries, and complete paperwork accurately while supporting store operations and team collaboration. A strong attention to detail and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
