Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth and accurate product flow from deliveries to store shelves. You will operate forklifts, sort and unpack deliveries, and maintain inventory integrity with precise paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving or handling inventory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and space planning for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete accompanying paperwork with attention to accuracy.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
