Job summary

RONA is hiring for a Receiving and Handling role at our Saguenay store in Canada. The successful candidate will receive all product deliveries, maintain inventory flow to shelves, and help ensure smooth store operations.

Forklift operation and attention to detail are essential, with a strong emphasis on health and safety in the workplace. Candidates should be able to schedule deliveries, verify inventory accuracy, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with inventory management preferred.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and equipment.
• Commitment to safety standards.

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space for incoming product.

Become a key member of our Receiving and Handling team! Turn every incoming delivery into a success by ensuring smooth and accurate product flow. Your attention to detail will make all the difference.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)


• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product


• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received


• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy


• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)


• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace


• Strong attention to detail


• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
