RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in Port-Cartier to manage incoming goods, maintain smooth inventory flow, and operate forklift equipment. The role emphasizes accuracy in receipt and paperwork, with safety as a core priority.

The position requires the ability to operate store equipment and uphold health and safety standards, contributing to a well-organized retail environment and effective store operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)

• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
