Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to turn incoming deliveries into a smooth flow of inventory to store shelves. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy and on-time stocking.

You will operate forklifts and other handling equipment, schedule deliveries, maintain inventory integrity, and complete paperwork to help the store run smoothly. We value safety, teamwork, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
