Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in Quebec to ensure smooth product flow from deliveries to shelves. You will handle the receiving, sorting, and placement of goods, operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, while maintaining strict inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, scanner)
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves (sort and unpack product, move items)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, ensure space for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with accuracy
• Other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly

• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
