Job summary

Canadian Industries Limited (CIL) is seeking a Manager, National Accounts Programs to drive strategic priorities with major Canadian retail partners. Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, this role supports the RONA portfolio while contributing to other national accounts as needed, bringing together Sales, Channel Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• At least five years in national/key account management or similar.
• Experience with major retail customers; background in CPG, paint/coatings, home improvement or building materials is a plus.
• Understanding retailer processes, promotional planning, assortment management and inventory/service implications.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive issues without direct authority.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for updates and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior National Account Manager in managing priorities and reviews.
• Coordinate customer programs including launches, promotions, assortment changes and merchandising.
• Lead projects from planning through implementation with internal and customer stakeholders.
• Monitor sales, POS trends, inventory availability and service performance; identify risks.
• Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to align requirements and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate resolution of issues including pricing discrepancies, claims, deductions and fulfillment.
• Prepare business updates, meeting materials, and actionable recommendations for reviews.
• Communicate programs with Sales and Channel Marketing and capture field feedback.
• Support initiatives across other national accounts when needed.
