Value Buds is hiring a Store Manager – Cannabis Retail for our Vermilion location. You will lead daily store operations, recruit and coach the team, and drive sales while managing inventory and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role offers competitive salary with a performance-based bonus, three weeks of vacation, and comprehensive benefits. Previous cannabis or regulated-retail experience is preferred, along with your ability to lead and motivate staff.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily store operations and ensure operational excellence
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage store teams
• Drive sales, KPIs, labour, and budget performance
• Create a strong customer-focused sales culture
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with provincial cannabis regulations
• Verify ID and follow all company policies and procedures

About You

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience with leadership responsibility
• Strong sales, people leadership, and operational skills
• Cannabis, liquor, or regulated retail experience preferred
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
