Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder to lead by example in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You’ll greet customers, recommend products, and support daily operations while helping ensure store performance.

Ideal candidates have retail or hospitality experience, strong communication, a cannabis selling certification, and must be 18/19+ depending on province; you must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 40 lbs, with eligibility for a Criminal Record Check.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep; operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.

What You’ll Do
