Job summary

Value Buds is hiring a Store Manager to lead daily store operations at Value Buds Shepard Regional in Alberta. You will develop a high-performing team, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure full regulatory compliance in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

You will own store results while delivering an exceptional customer experience, with a focus on performance-based bonuses, training, and career growth within SNDL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong sales, people leadership, and operational skills.
• Cannabis, liquor, or regulated retail experience preferred.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).

Responsibilities

About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily store operations and ensure operational excellence
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage store teams

• Manage inventory, merchandising, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with provincial cannabis regulations
• Verify ID and follow all company policies and procedures

About You

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience with leadership responsibility
• Strong sales, people leadership, and operational skills
• Cannabis, liquor, or regulated retail experience preferred
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
