Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder to join our Edmonton-area team. You will be the face of our brand, delivering outstanding service while helping customers explore cannabis products in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will lead by example, own your shifts, and support teammates with merchandising, store upkeep, and adherence to cannabis regulations. Prior retail or hospitality experience and a cannabis certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service or hospitality.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification required (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age 18/19+ depending on province.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.

What You'll Do
