Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily cannabis retail operations in Edmonton and guide our front-line team. You will ensure excellent customer service, educate shoppers on products, and uphold store standards.

As part of the leadership team, you’ll manage shifts, assist with merchandising and promotions, and ensure regulatory compliance across all procedures. Strong communication and people skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Must hold certification to sell cannabis (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, CanSell)

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product education
• Support and guide team members during assigned shifts
• Act as a point of contact in the absence of management
• Assist with product launches, promotions, and merchandising
• Support inventory management, ordering, and receiving
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, ID verification, and OH&S standards
• Help maintain store cleanliness, organization, and operational standards

About You

• Must be at least 18 or 19 years old (based on provincial requirements)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
