Job summary

Kibbi recherche un thérapeute en massage afin de prodiguer des soins de qualité dans un cadre professionnel. Le poste nécessite un diplôme et une certification pertinente, ainsi qu'une expérience de 2 à 3 ans dans le massage et la gestion des dossiers patients.

Le poste est offert en présentiel à La Prairie et exige une excellente communication et une forte orientation client, avec des conditions de travail conformes aux normes du secteur.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires exigé.
• Certification par une association provinciale pour les thérapeutes en massage.
• Expérience de 2 à moins de 3 ans dans le massage.

Responsibilities

• Consulter les autres professionnels de la santé lors de l'élaboration des plans de traitement.
• Réaliser les techniques de massage et manipulations des tissus mous.
• Appliquer des pressions sur des points précis du corps.
• Expliquer les procédures, risques et bénéfices aux clients.
• Tenir des registres des traitements fournis.
• Massager et pétrir les muscles et les tissus mous du corps.

TASKS

• Consult with other health care professionals when developing treatment plans for clients
• Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
• Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
• Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
• Maintain records of treatments given
• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body

CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, MEMBERSHIPS, AND COURSES

• Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
