Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide in-home childcare in Aurora, Ontario. You will supervise and care for multiple children, assist with daily routines, meals, and activities, and maintain a safe, clean home environment.

Position requires 7 months to less than 1 year of experience and a secondary school diploma. CPR and First Aid certificates are required; the role may involve travel with the family and school drop-offs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Secondary school diploma is required.
  • Experience in caring for children is essential.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

  • Follow parents' lead with toilet training.
  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Take children to and from school and appointments.
  • Tend to emotional well-being of children.
  • Help children with homework.
