Randstad Canada is seeking an Underwriting Assistant for a major Canadian insurer in Markham. This hybrid role supports underwriters with data entry, document processing, and clerical tasks in the underwriting team.
The position is 8 months, starts ASAP, with one week of onsite training, followed by 3 days per week in Markham (Mondays and Tuesdays required; the third day is flexible). Pay is $20 per hour, Monday to Friday.
We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as an Underwriting Assistant. This role is focused on supporting and assisting underwriters with processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support to the underwriting team.
This is a hybrid role.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Working days: Monday - Friday
Note: 1 week of training is 100% onsite, after that 3 days a week are required in the Markham location, Monday's and Tuesdays are mandatory, the 3rd day is the choice of the worker.
