Randstad Canada is hiring an Underwriting Assistant in Markham for a 6-month contract with hybrid work (50% in-office). The role supports underwriters with document processing, data entry, and clerical tasks.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of admin experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Insurance experience is a plus; quick learning and teamwork are essential.
We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as an Underwriting Assistant. This role is focused on supporting and assisting underwriters with processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support to the underwriting team.
This is a hybrid role
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Working days: Monday - Friday
