Randstad Canada is seeking an Underwriting Assistant for a major Canadian insurance and financial services company in Markham. This hybrid role involves supporting underwriters, data entry into the RTM system, and processing of documents.
The position starts ASAP with 50% in-office work; 8‑month contract and $20/hour. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to meet deadlines while supporting production goals and broker satisfaction.

We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as an Underwriting Assistant. This role is focused on supporting and assisting underwriters with processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support to the underwriting team.
This is a hybrid role. Pay Rate: $20/hr. Working days: Monday - Friday. Note: 1 week of training is 100% onsite, after that 3 days a week are required in the Markham location, Monday's and Tuesdays are mandatory, the 3rd day is the choice of the worker.
