A well-established equipment dealer is seeking a Heavy Duty Field Mechanic for a fully remote, field-based role in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate should have a valid Heavy Duty Technician License, at least 5 years of experience, and strong mechanical skills. If so, we’d like to meet you. Our client, a well-established OEM Rail/Material handling & lifting equipment dealer, is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic (Mobile Road Technician) to service and repair specialized railcar mover equipment across Saskatchewan.
This is a fully remote, field-based role. You’ll be provided with a company service truck and will coordinate daily and weekly work orders with the Director based in Manitoba. From there, you’ll travel to various customer sites to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. Depending on your location and schedule, travel may involve being on the road for several days or weeks at a time — with hotels, meals, and fuel fully covered.
Position: Full-time, direct hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday (with some overtime as required)
Environment: Field-based role with travel to customer sites
Wage: $43.00–$55.00/hr (based on experience and qualifications)
