Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a motivated MLOps Engineer to work remotely from Canada. Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proven skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, YAML scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, etc.).

Job description

We are looking for a motivated MLOps Engineer to join our team, working remotely from Canada. As an MLOps Engineer, you will bridge the gap between data science and operations, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and management of machine learning models in production environments. Your mission will be to automate, scale, and monitor the entire ML lifecycle, leveraging your expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and scripting, to deliver efficient, reliable, and secure data-driven solutions that support business innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to design, build, and maintain robust ML pipelines.
• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of ML models in production using CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and reproducible ML environments (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Containerize ML applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for scalable and resilient deployments.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging for ML models and data pipelines (CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, etc.).
• Ensure version control and reproducibility of code, data, and models (Git, DVC, or similar tools).
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, YAML) for data preprocessing, training, validation, and deployment.
• Manage cloud resources and security (IAM roles, VPCs, networking for ML workloads).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in ML pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement by integrating best practices in DevOps and MLOps.

Main Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proven skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, YAML scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, etc.).
• Experience with Git and version control practices.
• Understanding of ML lifecycle management and collaboration with data science teams.
• Fluent level of English (spoken and written) to collaborate with international stakeholders.
