Job Description

The successful applicant can be located in Saskatchewan, Manitoba or Northwest Ontario as this is a home office based role.

Preference will be given to candidates that have strong business or commercial banking experience.

This unique position calls on your ability to acquire, manage and retain profitable builder relationships for RBC through close collaboration with the Mortgage Specialist sales force and its leaders. Implement strategic initiatives to ensure business plans are achieved. You will also champion digital enablement by becoming an advocate of the RBC mobile application and wallet and promoting regular usage by teaching and guiding clients on how to use it.

What will you do?
  • Collaborate with Mortgage Specialist sales force partners, champion the client experience through a focus on financial advice, prompt and efficient service, quick and effective resolution of problems and early anchoring based on client needs and preferences.
  • Represent RBC with Centre of Influence networks including real estate agents, prospects, clients and employees; demonstrating leadership and focus on attracting new mortgage business, and new clients to RBC.
  • Work with builder community to ensure a positive RBC experience which will increase referrals and open new business opportunities.
  • Ensure external market partners meet RBC, industry and legal standards.
  • Maximize the use of all technology to enhance productivity and client experience.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Approximately 5-10 years in financial services including experience in the real estate sector.
  • Highly developed interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Well-honed collaboration skills to work with internal and external partners.
  • Effective presentation skills which will be utilized for both internal and external relationships.
  • Experience using Outlook tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong initiative and organizational skills.
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of new home construction.
  • Knowledge of local & regional housing markets.
  • Prior experience in commercial financial services.
