Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Maintenance Planner for its Mississauga, Ontario facility. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, inventory control, and coordination of maintenance activities to keep operations running efficiently.

You will develop preventive maintenance schedules, manage spare parts, and maintain work orders in MES/CMMS while supporting health and safety programs. The position offers a full-time weekday schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of inventory management and spare parts control.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication.
• Workplace health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance work with the leadership team.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Manage inventory levels and procure spare parts.
• Create and maintain work orders in MES and CMMS.
• Optimize preventative maintenance programs through analysis and scheduling improvements.
• Review maintenance findings and develop corrective action work orders.
• Identify safety requirements, permits, and procedures for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.
• Support Health & Safety, EMS, 5S initiatives, and energy conservation programs.
