Job summary

CGC Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Wheatland Plant in Canada. You will ensure RPM compliance, build RPM model activities, and expedite electrical and maintenance projects, delivering cost estimates and detailed job plans.

The role requires safe work practices, plant equipment knowledge, and strong communication skills. Some training travel may be required within the US/Canada regions, and the company offers extensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work safely.
• Knowledge of electrical and general plant equipment and maintenance.
• Experience with Windows-based systems, Word/Excel/Outlook, EAM, and Oracle Inventory Management.
• Able to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Self-starting with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with all levels, vendors, and contractors.
• Travel may be required during training (US/CAN).
• Maintain positive relationships and resolve conflicts promptly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Maintenance Planner activities comply with the RPM program.
• Develop and incorporate RPM model activities at the Wheatland Plant.
• Expedite work orders and requests; schedule electrical and maintenance projects.
• Provide written job plans and cost estimates including labour and materials.
• Communicate information in the Job Plan Package to relevant leads.
• Ensure information needed for planning is complete and readily available.
• Train as needed to learn new operating systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
