Job summary

IMT Precision in Ontario is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate material availability, capacity, and production priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will bridge the Master Production Schedule to shop-floor execution and maintain ERP planning integrity to minimize delays.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in production planning, ERP/MRP experience, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or diploma in SCM/Operations/Business/Manufacturing or related field.
Minimum 5 years of production planning/scheduling/materials planning experience.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems to manage production orders and planning data.

Responsibilities

Develop realistic production schedules based on material, capacity, WIP, and shop-floor conditions.
Identify production risks, constraints, and schedule exceptions; communicate impacts.
Investigate overdue orders and material shortages; coordinate recovery actions.
Monitor WIP and production orders through stages of manufacturing.
Collaborate across Production, Inventory, Materials, Purchasing, Quality and other teams.
