Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to manage and coordinate Work Management activities, developing comprehensive maintenance job plans and schedules to maximize manpower use and minimize downtime.

The role demands experience in planning, scheduling, CMMS, and SAP, with a focus on safe, efficient work execution. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years in maintenance planning, plus a journeyman ticket and preferably PMP or related diploma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience in an industrial setting.
• Journeyman ticket, PMP or related technical diploma preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work prioritization is adhered to.
• Review Work Requests and convert to Work Orders.
• Prioritize high-priority corrective work from PMs.
• Plan and schedule SAP-originated work requests not emergencies.
• Develop comprehensive maintenance job plans for safe execution.
• Create a 4-week scheduling horizon and manage BOMs in SAP.
