Job summary

FGF Brands in Canada is seeking a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to lead planning, scheduling, parts acquisition, and inventory control for the maintenance department. You will develop and manage PM/CM scopes, coordinate with procurement, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Requires post-secondary technical education, SAP experience, and strong Office skills. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize backlog, KPIs, and asset readiness, while upholding safety standards and

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with a related technical diploma or Engineering degree.
• Previous experience as a Planner/Scheduler is a significant asset.
• SAP software super user is an asset.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Demonstrated strengths in organizational, planning and resourcing skills.
• Excellent communication with follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with maintenance processes, asset management and warehouse systems is an asset.
• Must be a proven team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope jobs including tooling, equipment, drawings, parts and safety elements.
• Identify required parts, verify availability and order as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement to generate material purchase orders.
• Forecast manpower availability versus requirements.
• Plan and coordinate equipment commissions/decommissions.
• Review PMs and improve SOPs for parts and tasks.
• Promote safe working environment per Health & Safety program.
• Backlog management with weekly/monthly reviews and closeouts.
• Monitor and update work orders and notifications.
• Generate and optimize PM & CM scopes and SOPs.
• Work with Maintenance leaders to identify improvements and report KPIs.
