Job summary

You will own the site's inventory control program, set minimum and economic order quantities, purchase necessary MRO materials, expedite shipments, source critical repair parts, and support other departments with purchasing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory management or procurement, preferably in a maintenance or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's inventory control program, including setting minimum and economic order quantities.
• Purchase necessary MRO materials to ensure the availability of parts and supplies for plant operations.
• Expedite incoming materials shipments as needed to prevent disruptions to operations.
• Locate and source critical repair parts, maintaining relationships with suppliers for timely access to parts.
• Perform regular analyses to determine efficient inventory levels for timely repairs.
• Assist other departments with purchasing requests as necessary.
