Job description

AGT Foods is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Main Plant facility in Regina, SK.The applicant must be energetic, self-motivated, physically fit and able to work at heights when needed.

Duties and Requirements:

Preventative maintenance for the processing plants and equipment

Day to day repairs such as bearings, belts and gearboxes

Planning, coordinating and implementing plant repairs and projects

Maintain records for all maintenance and repairs on Plant equipment

Maintain and procure supplies and parts inventories

Ability to work safely operating hand tools, power tools and man lifts

Experience with welding is an asset but not required

Applicant will be required to work in adverse weather conditions as necessary

MUST HAVE MECHANICAL APTITUDE

WILLINGNESS TO WORK OVERTIME AS REQUIRED

DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE OF INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY, INCLUDING GRAIN HANDLING AND CLEANING SYSTEMS

This is an additional full-time position working with and assisting our staff to repair and maintain equipment in our Regina Main Plant and yard.
