Job summary

A logistics company in Brampton is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for full-time work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Responsible for picking and assembling orders, preparing orders for shipment, and loading and unloading trucks
  • Responsible for receiving shipments by signing for incoming shipments, inspecting products, and ensuring proper and accurate paperwork is maintained
  • Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
  • Verify shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders
  • Receive, unload, sort orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely manner
  • Marking incoming parts and stocking them in the stockroom
  • Perform a daily update as needed, as well as an annual intake of inventory
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to the Parts/Warehouse Manager promptly
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or vendors
  • Supportively work alongside all department colleagues
  • Accountable for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient storage area
  • Must adhere to Metro Trucks code of conduct and Health & Safety procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
