Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team at a luxury all-inclusive resort in British Columbia. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving guest satisfaction and revenue growth for one of Canada's most exclusive wilderness resorts. This role blends sales, client service, and relationship management — from handling individual guest inquiries to cultivating and growing partnerships with travel trade and corporate groups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and hospitality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Providing seamless, efficient, and optimized pre and post stay guest services designed to convert and retain guests.
  • Receiving and responding to inquiries via various platforms, providing prompt, accurate, and well-curated advice.
  • Preparing quotes for clients and ensuring correct rates are communicated to clients.
  • Customizing guest itineraries and coordinating reservation / trip details with operations.
  • Coordinating commission payments and monitoring payment reports.
  • Supporting finance to ensure accurate sales reporting is maintained.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the hotel industry; experience in luxury hotels is an asset.
  • An undergraduate degree, with an emphasis on business preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with property management software (PMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software an asset.
  • Sales Expertise: 3–5 years of proven sales experience in luxury hospitality or travel, with strong relationships in the travel trade and / or corporate incentive markets.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a high calibre guest experience pre and post stay.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally across various platforms.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain effective B2C and B2B relationships, with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
