Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care teams in our communities across Canada. The LPN provides nursing and personal care per physician orders and the resident care plan, while upholding privacy, dignity and autonomy for residents.

You will work with RNs and other care staff to monitor health, document care plans, and participate in in-service programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in Practical Nursing and active LPN registration in BC.
• RAI MDS certification as per AIS requirements.
• Current First Aid with CPR certification.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Checks as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per policy, physician orders, and resident care plans.
• Safeguard medications and ensure narcotics handling protocols.
• Create a safe, dignified environment supporting resident independence.
• Collaborate with RN and team to optimize residents' functional ability.
• Document priorities and interventions to achieve best outcomes.
• Participate in in-service programs, conferences, and ongoing learning.
