Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta invites a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate care team, delivering goal-directed, resident-centered nursing under provincial standards.

You will assess, plan, document, and adjust care plans while collaborating with physicians and unregulated care providers to ensure dignity and quality of life. You bring current LPN registration in Canada, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Current registration as LPN in applicable province (Canada) with active license.
• Experience in senior/long-term care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with care team using person-centered approach.
• Assess, document, and update resident assessments and care plans.
• Implement and evaluate care plans; adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies/regulations.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and providers; delegate tasks when appropriate.
