Drive Results and Impact Change

Reporting to the Manager of Client Services, the Senior Specialist 1, Logistics Cost and Claims will be responsible for end-to-end logistics invoice auditing, cost control, and claims management by reviewing and validating 3PL and carrier invoices, verifying accessorial charges, and preventing overpayments. Manages documentation, SOP updates, vendor accountability, and compliance with global policies, while supporting customs coordination, month‑end close, cost monitoring, and continuous process improvements to drive efficiency and cost recovery.

Where Expertise Meets Execution
  • Downloading invoice data from system and provide to 3PL daily
  • Processing of invoices from 3PL and any other invoices as received
  • Accessorial Charges – Verification and Validation of charges
  • Record retention filing system and maintenance of documents
  • Maintaining and updating the standard operating procedures guide
  • Monitor spend and create early warnings on cost issues, over‑budget spends and divisional logistics cost of business
  • Vendor Accountability – monitor carrier SOA, track performance on damage and billing delays
  • Support month‑end responsibility to close aged or outstanding items
  • Assist in tariff and cost process management within our internal customer database and external parties
  • Liaise with internal and external team on customs support such as but not limited to: documentation, clearance delay, HS code maintenance, customs exam etc. as required
  • Manage to GPPM (Global Policy and Procedures Manual). Ensures compliance with all SECA policies
  • Single point of contact for invoice auditing
  • Review and validate of logistics invoices and identify discrepancy to prevent overpayment
  • Process Improvement – Identify billing errors and process gaps, drive automation and efficiency in invoice and claims workflows
  • Managing end‑to‑end claims handling with carriers and warehouses to recover costs
  • Compliance & Audit support – Ensuring compliance with SECA policies, audit standards
  • Assist in Claims processing. Including SOP, AR processing, Insurance/Carrier/Warehouse claim, declinations and appeals, as required
  • Reconciling outstanding balances with Finance department
  • Adhoc activities as required
