Job Description

Miku Toronto is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will prepare and create innovative signature sushi dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensure food safety protocols are met.
  • Maintain sufficient levels of prep to ensure smooth service.
  • Conduct quality checks of dishes to meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including the line station, preparation area, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
  • Wash trays, containers, and appliances as needed.
  • Assist other stations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Experience in Japanese cuisine is an asset but not required.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
  • Passion for Japanese and Asian culinary arts and flavors.
