Job Overview
This is a temporary summer role starting from May 2025 to September 2025. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this person will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals by preparing food as per the specifications, setting up stations for the menu, and assisting the Executive Chef with daily tasks.
Specific Duties Would Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Prepare food for service and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Clean up the station and take care of leftover food.
- Responsible for opening and/or closing of the kitchen.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
Job Qualifications
- Post-secondary Hospitality Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a similar work environment.
- Food Handler Certification Required.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work early shifts, be flexible, and handle stress.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Sanitation Standards.
- Excellent communication skills (speak, read, and write).
