BlueBlood Steakhouse at Casa Loma is actively seeking reliable, efficient, and highly motivated individuals to join as Line Cooks. We value industry professionals who are willing to learn, train, and work hard every day.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment according to standardized recipes.
  • Consistently follow our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Maintain sufficient food stock levels at line stations to ensure smooth service.
  • Keep work stations clean and sanitary, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Prepare items for cooking methods such as broiling, grilling, frying, or sautéing by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and marinating.
  • Monitor supplies and prep lists to ensure timely preparation of all items.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in safely using food service equipment such as grills, fryers, stoves, and knives.
  • Possession of a food handler's certificate.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
