BlueBlood Steakhouse at Casa Loma is actively looking for reliable, efficient, and highly motivated individuals to join our growing team as Cooks/Line Cooks.

We are seeking industry professionals who are willing to learn, train, and work hard every day.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment according to standardized recipes.
  • Consistently follow our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Maintain sufficient food stock levels at line stations to ensure smooth service.
  • Keep a clean and sanitary work station, including all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
  • Prepare items for cooking by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and marinating.
  • Check supplies and prep lists to ensure timely preparation of all items.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to safely operate food service equipment such as grills, fryers, stoves, and knives.
  • Possess a valid food handler's certificate.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
