Job Description

Miku Toronto is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will prepare and create innovative signature sushi dishes.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  2. Ensure food safety protocols are met.
  3. Maintain sufficient levels of prep to ensure smooth service.
  4. Conduct quality checks of dishes to meet restaurant standards.
  5. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including the line station, preparation area, and refrigeration equipment.
  6. Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  7. Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
  8. Wash trays, containers, and appliances as needed.
  9. Assist other stations as required.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 2-year sauté and grill experience.
  2. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  3. Experience in Japanese cuisine is an asset but not required.
  4. Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
  5. Passion for Japanese and Asian culinary arts and flavors.
