Job Summary
SIMONA is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate is passionate about Italian cuisine, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes consistently. You’ll work under the direct supervision of the Head Chef or Sous Chef, helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with SIMONA’s recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food is cooked and plated properly, with attention to taste, portion, and presentation
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
• Assist with receiving deliveries, labeling, and proper storage of food items
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Follow directions from the Head or Sous Chef and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced or upscale kitchen (Italian cuisine preferred)
• Culinary diploma or equivalent experience is an asset
• Understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for long periods and work under pressure
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
